I sometimes wonder if my blog projects a life with rose-colored-glasses. Antidotes, stories, and pictures that capture the funny, heart-warming, and adorable moments. But, what about the "not so fun" stuff. Yeah, I've blogged about pet-peeves, Kate's spill down the basement stairs, and such, but do my readers really want to hear about the stuff that leaves me sleepless, annoyed, and completely deflated. I suspect that answer is yes, but I will probably only share in small doses. That being said this perception I've created and the experiences I share may actually be a disservice to other moms who may (but shouldn't) compare themselves (to me or other bloggers). What do you think?

You go ahead and give the rosey view. They can check out my blog for all the real stuff :-)
This is your blog for you to share whatever you are comfortable with. I think several of my friends who enjoy coming here do so because your posts are mostly happy and fun...and it will be wonderful for you to look back on all these good times/great memories. That said, I also take comfort in visiting mom blogs that reveal the nitty gritty of parenthood because we all know there are big challenges and tough moments, times when we did it right and times when we didn't. Makes me feel not so alone, you know? Maybe I should think about doing more of that on my blog...either way, I always look forward to visiting Daily Mayhem.
Oh I like both--the good and the bad. I sometimes feel like my blog dwells too much on the frustrating moments of parenthood and that I should write more about what amazing, funny, happy little people my kids are.
I prefer it as is!
