A professional opportunity didn't work out for me in 2012, but because the flexibility my office offers I will be able to take and pick-up my kids from school everyday (in 2013 and forever if I choose). No extra childcare help needed and a couple of hours each day to manage homework, extracurricular, and dinner. I am thrilled for the opportunity.

That is great news! I just read something that stated the most important hours of a child's day - at any age - are the hours between 4-7pm.
Truly sounds like perfection to me. We miss you guys!! Happy New Year from Boston (and Miami).
